NDRF CBRN TEAM NEUTRILISED LEAKAGE OF ACETYL CHLORIDE GAS AT MUMBAI

Yesterday, in an incident, leakage of Acetyl Chloride Gas took place at plot no 88,Dronagiri node, JNPT, Mumbai where 200 containers were kept, out of which one container got leakage and created panic among the authorities.

On getting information, one CBRN team of NDRF, stationed at Regional Response Centre (RRC) Mumbai immediately rushed to the spot for response at 14224o hrs and reached at 150030 hrs. NDRF team carried out operation during whole night and neutralised the leakage .The prompt and timely response of NDRF neutrilised the leakage and normalise the situation.
